Prof. Daniel K. Jako przewodniczący będzie pełnił funkcję głównego punktu kontaktowego pomiędzy Europą a kierownictwem IBRO, koordynując działania regionalne oraz dbając o to, aby priorytety Europy były reprezentowane na najwyższych szczeblach organizacji. Prof. Daniel K. Wójcik has been appointed the Chair of the Pan-Europe Regional Committee of the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO-PERC), https://ibro.org/about/governance/regional-committees/pan-europe-regional-committee/ , the largest global neuroscience organization, https://ibro.org. As Chair, he will serve as the main point of contact between Europe and IBRO leadership, guiding regional activities while ensuring that Europe’s priorities are represented at the highest levels of the organization. In this role, he is a voting member of both the Board of Directors, https://ibro.org/about/governance/leadership/, and the Governing Council. Prof. Wójcik is the first Polish scientist and the first computational neuroscientist in this role.
